We’re excited to introduce a new enhancement to the RX Pad — Mandatory Fields, designed to improve prescription completeness and accuracy.

With this feature, specific fields in the RX Pad can now be marked as mandatory.

• You must fill in the mandatory fields before completing a prescription.

• If any mandatory information is missing, the system will show a prompt, with a clear pop-up highlighting the sections that need to be completed.

• To support flexibility during consultations, an “End Without Rx” option has also been introduced. This allows doctors to conclude a consultation without generating a prescription when required.

This update ensures greater consistency in prescriptions while continuing to support flexible and efficient clinical workflows.

You can now print the Growth Chart directly on the prescription — no separate printouts needed.

• Enable it from 'My Rx Template' → Growth Chart Print

• Charts print along with Z-scores and key details

• Since Growth Chart is part of Vitals, you can rearrange it within the Vitals section

• Want to print only selected charts (e.g. 2 out of 5)? You can customise this from Print Settings

2. Smart Vaccine Reminders ⏰

Patients will now receive an automatic reminder one day before (D-1) their scheduled vaccine.

• Reminder includes all vaccines due on that date

• Works independently of follow-ups

• Can be enabled or disabled anytime from Message Configuration

3. Flexible Vaccine Section Arrangement 🔄

We’ve improved how vaccination data appears during printing.

• You can rearrange the Vaccination section while printing

• In Configure Your Pad, place the Vaccine section where you prefer

• Enable this from DIY > 'Footer Config'
• Your QR code will appear in the Rx footer, allowing quick appointment booking

Past Vitals Print 🖨️

You can now print past vitals directly from the Overview section.

• Date & time appear in rows, vitals in columns

• Maximum 9 vitals can be printed at a time

• Only vitals added in the Rx Pad will be printed

Eka now supports Face Authentication to make ABHA registration faster and more reliable.

This helps verify patients even when their Aadhaar-linked mobile number is unavailable or different.
